Adventures in the Algarve Lagos, Portugal
May 1-8, 2026-SOLD OUT May 16-22, 2026
The Algarve is a paradise for nature lovers and is famous for its dramatic cliffs, hidden coves, and golden beaches—some of the most beautiful in Europe.
We will immerse ourselves in the Algarve’s culture by exploring small historic towns and fisherman villages that include a blend of Moorish and Portuguese influences in architecture and cuisine. These towns are treasure troves of traditional architecture, vibrant markets, and local artworks, including exquisite tiles, pottery, and textiles. Movement and Meditation
Movement is medicine for our body. Our morning exercises will offer the physical support needed for the day's activities. Through meditation, we'll set intentions for the experiences that lie ahead. In the evening, we will reconvene to reflect on the day and ready our minds and bodies for rest and rejuvenation. On select days, we will have the pleasure of hosting local guest instructors to lead us in movement and meditation sessions.
FARM TO TABLE CUISINE
Food is a language we all understand, which connects us to each other and the cultures we are exploring. Local chefs will prepare breakfast and dinner in front of us with produce from farms nearby. For lunch, we will stop at restaurants showcasing a variety of local cuisine. Fall in love with the delicious food in Portugal as it feeds the belly and the soul.
ACCOMMDATIONS
We will be staying at the charming Vivenda Sol Nascente, a stunning residence with breathtaking ocean views. This home features several balconies where we can savor a delightful breakfast or engage in meditation or yoga while watching the waves roll in.
During our leisure time, you can relax in the swimming pool or enjoy a good book in the tranquil gardens.
We are a 7 minute walk to the beach where we will enjoy morning movement and mediation or collect shells during a sunrise stroll.
